1. About the Role

Andabhurji Global Solutions is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused Team Member – Odoo Functional Administrator to support the day-to-day functional and operational activities of the Company's Odoo-based eCommerce and business systems.

The selected Team Member will act as an important functional and operational bridge between customers, business operations and technical/development teams.

The role involves managing day-to-day back-office activities, maintaining eCommerce data, monitoring orders and customers, supporting product and catalogue operations, handling customer queries through email and live chat, investigating functional issues and coordinating with relevant internal teams for resolution.

This is a performance-driven, partnership-oriented contractual role and requires an individual who can work independently, maintain high data accuracy and take ownership of routine operational and customer-support responsibilities.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Odoo Functional Administration

  • Manage day-to-day functional activities within the Company's Odoo environment.

  • Navigate relevant Odoo applications and workflows efficiently.

  • Perform routine functional configurations and administrative activities within the authority provided.

  • Monitor system records and identify data or process inconsistencies.

  • Understand business workflows and how different Odoo applications interact.

  • Assist users/customers with functional questions relating to the Company's systems.

  • Identify whether an issue is functional, operational, configuration-related or technical.

  • Resolve functional issues wherever possible without unnecessary escalation.

  • Escalate technical/development issues to the appropriate technical team.

  • Maintain records of recurring issues and their solutions.

  • Support testing of new configurations, features, workflows and system changes.

3. eCommerce Store Administration

The Team Member will support the day-to-day administration of the Company's eCommerce operations, including:

  • Product management

  • Product categories

  • Product variants

  • Attributes

  • Pricing

  • Product availability

  • Customer accounts

  • Online orders

  • Delivery-related information

  • Returns and cancellations

  • Invoicing-related information

  • Website/eCommerce content

  • Store configuration

  • Basic website administration

The Team Member will be expected to understand the relationship between the online store, sales orders, customers, inventory, delivery and invoicing processes.

4. Product & Catalogue Management

Responsibilities may include:

  • Creating and updating products.

  • Updating product names and descriptions.

  • Uploading and managing product images.

  • Managing product categories.

  • Managing product attributes and variants.

  • Updating pricing and applicable product information.

  • Checking product availability.

  • Verifying product information before publishing.

  • Identifying missing or incorrect product information.

  • Maintaining catalogue accuracy.

  • Coordinating with relevant teams for product-related corrections.

Accuracy is particularly important because incorrect product information, pricing or availability can directly affect customers and business operations.

5. Order Management

The Team Member will monitor and support the order lifecycle, including:

  • Monitoring incoming orders.

  • Checking order information.

  • Verifying customer details.

  • Monitoring order status.

  • Supporting order confirmation processes.

  • Coordinating delivery-related issues.

  • Handling cancellation-related requests.

  • Supporting return-related processes.

  • Following up on pending orders.

  • Identifying unusual or incomplete orders.

6. Customer Management

The Team Member will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer information, including:

The Team Member must maintain customer information accurately and handle customer data confidentially.

7. Customer Email Support

The Team Member will handle customer communications through email, including:

8. Live Chat & Customer Communication

Where live-chat facilities are available, the Team Member may be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer chats.

  • Understanding customer requirements.

  • Providing accurate information.

  • Assisting customers with product/order-related questions.

  • Guiding customers through available processes.

  • Handling multiple conversations efficiently.

  • Escalating complex issues when required.

  • Maintaining a professional customer experience.

9. Ticket Management

The Team Member may be responsible for managing customer and operational support tickets, including:

  • Creating tickets.

  • Categorizing tickets.

  • Prioritizing issues.

  • Investigating reported problems.

  • Updating ticket status.

  • Communicating with customers.

  • Coordinating with internal teams.

  • Following up on pending issues.

  • Closing resolved tickets.

  • Maintaining accurate ticket history.

10. Functional Troubleshooting

The Team Member should be capable of investigating issues logically before escalating them.

This may include:

  • Reproducing a reported problem.

  • Checking customer/order/product records.

  • Checking configuration or workflow information.

  • Identifying data-related issues.

  • Checking whether an issue is user-related or system-related.

  • Identifying process gaps.

  • Providing functional solutions where possible.

  • Documenting the issue.

  • Escalating technical issues with sufficient information.

The Team Member is not expected to be a software developer but should have sufficient functional understanding to distinguish between functional problems and technical/development problems.

11. Inventory & Operational Coordination

The role may involve coordination with inventory and operations teams regarding:

  • Product availability

  • Stock status

  • Inventory movements

  • Out-of-stock products

  • Order fulfilment

  • Delivery status

  • Returns

  • Stock-related customer queries

The Team Member should understand how inventory information can affect eCommerce sales and customer orders.

12. Website & Content Administration

The Team Member may assist with basic website/eCommerce administration, including:

  • Product information

  • Categories

  • Banners

  • Menus

  • Basic website content

  • Store information

  • Product presentation

  • Basic content corrections

Any changes requiring coding, development or advanced technical configuration should be appropriately escalated.

13. Back-Office Operations

The Team Member will handle routine operational activities such as:

  • Data entry

  • Record verification

  • Data correction

  • Order checking

  • Customer record management

  • Product record management

  • Operational reports

  • Administrative housekeeping

  • Documentation

  • Follow-ups

  • Daily system checks

The role requires a high level of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.

14. Reports & Data Checking

The Team Member may be responsible for generating, reviewing or maintaining basic:

  • Sales reports

  • Operational reports

The Team Member should be able to identify obvious discrepancies and report them appropriately.

15. Documentation & SOP Management

The Team Member may assist in maintaining:

  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Customer-support templates

  • Troubleshooting guides

  • Process notes

  • Internal operational instructions

  • Issue-resolution documentation

Recurring problems should be documented so that the Company can improve its processes and reduce repeated support issues.

16. Coordination with Technical & Internal Teams

The Team Member will act as a functional point of coordination between customers/business operations and technical teams.

Before escalating an issue, the Team Member should provide, wherever possible:

  • Customer details

  • Relevant order/product information

  • Description of the issue

  • Steps followed

  • Expected result

  • Actual result

  • Screenshots or supporting information where appropriate

  • Business impact

  • Urgency

This will help the technical team investigate issues more efficiently.

17. Work Model – Completely Remote

This position is initially offered as a completely remote role.

The Team Member must have access to:

  • A suitable laptop/desktop computer.

  • A functional smartphone.

  • A reliable and good-quality internet connection.

  • A suitable working environment.

  • Ability to participate in online meetings.

  • Ability to communicate with customers through email, chat and other approved communication channels.

The Team Member shall generally be responsible for the cost and maintenance of their own laptop, smartphone, internet connection and remote working infrastructure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

18. Future Hybrid / Work-from-Office Requirement

Although the position is initially completely remote, Andabhurji Global Solutions may, based on:

  • Organizational requirements

  • Business expansion

  • Availability of office facilities

  • Management requirements

transition the role to a:

Hybrid Working Model or Work-from-Office Model.

The Company may communicate the applicable workplace, schedule, reporting requirements and effective date where such a change is required.

20. Minimum Skill Fitment

Candidates are not expected to be experts in every skill mentioned above.

21. Contract & Compensation

The role is offered initially for a six (6) month renewable contractual period.

There shall be no fixed monthly salary or guaranteed minimum compensation during the initial contractual period.

The Team Member shall be eligible for:

Primary Revenue Share

10% of the Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit, subject to a maximum of:

INR 5,00,000 per month.

Performance Incentive

An additional:

3% of the Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit, subject to:

INR 10,00,000 maximum per quarter.

The incentive is payable after completion of the applicable quarter and reconciliation of Company records.

Revenue eligibility shall be subject to applicable Company accounting, invoicing, payment realization, cancellation, refund, credit-note and reconciliation procedures.

22. Six-Month Review

At the end of six months, the Company may:

  1. Renew the contractual engagement;

  2. Convert the engagement to a salaried employment model; or

  3. Decide not to renew the engagement.

Any salaried conversion shall depend upon:

  • Individual performance

  • Business-unit performance

  • Organizational performance

  • Business requirements

  • Availability of an appropriate position

Completion of six months does not guarantee renewal or salaried employment.

23. Termination & Inactivity

The engagement may be terminated in accordance with the executed contract and applicable law.

Grounds may include:

  • Material breach of contract

  • Serious misconduct

  • Fraud or dishonesty

  • Unauthorized use or disclosure of confidential information

  • Customer-data misuse

  • Repeated negligence

  • Serious customer misconduct

  • Unauthorized commitments

  • Material policy violations

  • Persistent failure to perform agreed responsibilities

  • Conflict of interest

  • Other legally permissible grounds

15-Day No-Contact Provision

If the Team Member remains completely unreachable or has no communication/contact with the Company for a continuous period of fifteen (15) calendar days, without prior approval, reasonable explanation or an arrangement accepted by the Company, the Company may treat the engagement as abandoned/inactive and may cancel or terminate the contract.

Where legally permissible and depending upon the circumstances, such cancellation may be made with or without further notice.

Genuine circumstances such as emergencies, hospitalization, force majeure or other circumstances preventing communication may be considered where the Team Member subsequently provides a reasonable explanation or evidence.

24. Candidate Acknowledgement

By applying for this position, the candidate confirms that they understand:

  • The role is initially completely remote.

  • A laptop/desktop, smartphone and reliable internet connection are mandatory.

  • The Company may subsequently require hybrid or work-from-office working.

  • The initial engagement is for six months.

  • The position does not provide a fixed salary during the contractual period.

  • Compensation is revenue/performance linked.

  • Revenue share and incentives are subject to applicable caps and reconciliation.

  • Renewal is not guaranteed.

  • Conversion to salaried employment is not guaranteed.

  • The role requires at least approximately 50%–60% overall skill fitment.

CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT TERMS


TEAM MEMBER – ODOO FUNCTIONAL ADMINISTRATOR

1. Parties

These Contractual Engagement Terms ("Agreement") are intended to govern the engagement between:

Andabhurji Global Solutions, hereinafter referred to as the "Company", and

the selected individual, hereinafter referred to as the "Team Member".

The Team Member and Company may individually be referred to as a "Party" and collectively as the "Parties".

The Company's applicable registered/corporate address shall be as stated in its current official Terms & Conditions and corporate documentation.

2. Nature of Engagement

The Company engages the Team Member to perform functional administration, back-office operations, eCommerce administration and customer-support responsibilities relating to the Company's Odoo-based business systems and designated business unit(s).

The engagement is initially structured as a six (6) month contractual and partnership-oriented engagement.

The exact start date, assigned business unit, territory, responsibilities and applicable operational targets shall be communicated or documented separately.

3. Initial Contract Period

The initial contractual period shall be:

Six (6) months from the effective date of engagement.

The engagement shall not automatically renew upon completion of the initial six-month period.

Following review, the Company may:

  • Renew the contractual engagement;

  • Offer a salaried employment arrangement; or

  • Allow the engagement to expire without renewal.

No renewal or salaried conversion shall be guaranteed.

4. Role & Responsibilities

The Team Member shall perform functional and operational responsibilities including, where applicable:

  • Odoo functional administration;

  • eCommerce store administration;

  • Product and catalogue management;

  • Order management;

  • Customer management;

  • Inventory coordination;

  • Website/content administration;

  • Back-office operations;

  • Customer email support;

  • Live chat support;

  • Ticket management;

  • Functional troubleshooting;

  • Customer query resolution;

  • Issue escalation;

  • CRM/customer follow-up;

  • Reporting;

  • Data verification;

  • Documentation;

  • SOP maintenance;

  • Coordination with technical, development, accounting, inventory and management teams.

The Company may reasonably modify or expand these responsibilities based on the needs of the assigned business unit.

5. Standard of Performance

The Team Member shall perform duties with reasonable:

  • Skill

  • Care

  • Accuracy

  • Professionalism

  • Diligence

  • Confidentiality

  • Customer focus

  • Timeliness

The Team Member shall maintain accurate business records and comply with reasonable operational instructions issued by the Company.

6. Skill-Fitment Requirement

The Company may assess the Team Member's suitability based on the skills required for the role.

A general benchmark of 50%–60% or higher overall skill fitment may be used as a selection criterion.

The benchmark does not mean that the Team Member must possess 50%–60% of every individual skill independently. The assessment may consider the candidate's overall functional, technical, communication, customer-support and learning capabilities.

7. Remote Working Arrangement

The engagement shall initially be performed on a completely remote basis.

The Team Member shall maintain:

  • A suitable laptop/desktop;

  • Smartphone;

  • Reliable internet connection;

  • Appropriate remote working environment;

  • Ability to attend online meetings;

  • Ability to communicate with customers and Company personnel through approved communication channels.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Team Member shall be responsible for arranging and maintaining the above infrastructure.

8. Change to Hybrid or Work-from-Office

The Parties acknowledge that the initial remote working arrangement may be changed based on the Company's business and operational requirements.

The Company may require the Team Member to operate under:

  • A hybrid working model; or

  • A work-from-office model.

Such requirement may arise due to business expansion, office availability, customer requirements, operational requirements, management requirements or other legitimate organizational needs.

The Company shall communicate the applicable arrangements where a change is implemented.

9. Compensation

The contractual engagement shall have no fixed monthly salary, fixed stipend or guaranteed minimum compensation unless expressly agreed in a subsequent written agreement.

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Team Member may receive the following performance-linked compensation.

9.1 Revenue Share

The Team Member shall be eligible for:

10% of Total Revenue generated in the applicable assigned region/business unit.

The maximum revenue-share amount shall be:

INR 5,00,000 per month.

9.2 Performance Incentive

The Team Member shall additionally be eligible for:

3% of Total Revenue generated in the applicable assigned region/business unit.

The maximum performance incentive shall be:

INR 10,00,000 per quarter.

The performance incentive shall be payable following completion of the relevant quarter and reconciliation of the Company's records.

10. Revenue Attribution

For the purpose of calculating compensation, revenue shall be attributed based on the Company's official business records and applicable attribution rules.

The Company may consider:

  • Customer invoices;

  • Payments actually received;

  • Business unit;

  • Assigned territory;

  • Customer attribution;

  • Cancellations;

  • Refunds;

  • Credit notes;

  • Discounts;

  • Taxes;

  • Adjustments;

  • Reversals;

  • Disputed transactions;

  • Other accounting adjustments.

Revenue that cannot reasonably be attributed to the Team Member's assigned business unit or territory may be excluded from the calculation.

11. Reconciliation

The Company shall conduct periodic reconciliation of eligible revenue.

Where revenue previously considered for compensation is subsequently:

  • Refunded;

  • Cancelled;

  • Reversed;

  • Adjusted;

  • Credited;

  • Disputed; or

  • Otherwise determined to be ineligible,

the Company may adjust the corresponding compensation in a subsequent reconciliation, subject to applicable law and the contractual arrangement.

The Company's official financial and operational records shall be used for reconciliation.

12. No Guaranteed Revenue

The Team Member acknowledges that the compensation model is performance and revenue dependent.

The Company does not guarantee:

  • Any minimum number of orders;

  • Any minimum revenue;

  • Any minimum monthly compensation;

  • Any minimum quarterly incentive;

  • Any minimum number of customers;

  • Any minimum business volume.

13. Customer & Data Confidentiality

The Team Member may have access to confidential information, including:

  • Customer records;

  • Personal information;

  • Orders;

  • Product data;

  • Pricing;

  • Sales information;

  • Business processes;

  • System configurations;

  • Internal documentation;

  • Technical information;

  • Commercial information;

  • Credentials or access information where authorized.

The Team Member shall not disclose, copy, transfer, sell, misuse or otherwise exploit such information outside the authorized scope of the engagement.

The Team Member shall follow applicable Company data-protection, privacy and information-security policies.

14. System Access & Security

Any credentials, system access or administrative permissions provided to the Team Member shall be used solely for authorized business purposes.

The Team Member shall:

  • Keep credentials confidential;

  • Not share passwords;

  • Not provide unauthorized access to third parties;

  • Not download or copy confidential information unnecessarily;

  • Immediately report suspected unauthorized access;

  • Follow the Company's security procedures.

Upon termination or expiry of the engagement, access may be revoked immediately or as otherwise determined by the Company.

15. Customer Communication

The Team Member shall communicate with customers professionally and shall not:

  • Make unauthorized promises;

  • Offer unauthorized discounts;

  • Misrepresent products;

  • Guarantee functionality not approved by the Company;

  • Make unauthorized commercial commitments;

  • Misrepresent Company policies.

Customer complaints or sensitive commercial issues should be escalated appropriately.

16. Functional vs Technical Issues

The Team Member is expected to investigate reported problems before escalation.

Where an issue requires coding, development, infrastructure changes, advanced integration work or other technical intervention, the Team Member shall provide the relevant information to the technical team.

The Team Member shall not independently modify technical components beyond their authorized functional permissions.

17. Intellectual Property & Work Product

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the specific contractual arrangement, documents, SOPs, reports, process documentation, templates, business records and other work product created specifically for the Company in connection with the engagement shall be treated as Company work product.

The Team Member shall not commercially exploit or disclose Company-specific work product without authorization.

18. Conflict of Interest

The Team Member shall disclose any material conflict of interest that may affect the engagement.

The Team Member shall not misuse Company information, customers, leads, systems or business opportunities for unauthorized personal or third-party benefit.

19. Performance Review

The Company may periodically review:

  • Functional performance;

  • Customer-support performance;

  • Ticket resolution;

  • Data accuracy;

  • Response times;

  • Operational discipline;

  • Documentation;

  • Problem-solving;

  • System administration;

  • Customer satisfaction;

  • Business-unit requirements.

Performance reviews may influence renewal, role continuation or consideration for salaried conversion.

20. Termination by Company

Subject to applicable law and the terms of the executed agreement, the Company may terminate the engagement for reasons including:

Material Misconduct

  • Fraud;

  • Dishonesty;

  • Theft;

  • Unauthorized financial activity;

  • Serious misconduct;

  • Intentional misrepresentation.

Confidentiality / Data Breach

  • Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information;

  • Customer-data misuse;

  • Unauthorized access;

  • Sharing credentials;

  • Serious information-security violations.

Operational Breach

  • Persistent failure to perform assigned responsibilities;

  • Repeated negligence;

  • Material failure to maintain records;

  • Repeated non-compliance with reasonable operational procedures.

Customer Misconduct

  • Serious inappropriate customer communication;

  • False promises;

  • Unauthorized commitments;

  • Unauthorized discounts;

  • Conduct materially damaging to the Company's customer relationships or reputation.

Contract / Policy Breach

  • Material violation of contractual obligations;

  • Material violation of applicable Company policies;

  • Unlawful conduct connected with the engagement.

Where immediate termination is legally permissible, the Company may terminate without waiting for an ordinary notice period.

21. Termination by Team Member

The Team Member may request termination of the engagement in accordance with the notice and other requirements specified in the executed contract.

The Team Member should provide reasonable notice to enable orderly handover of:

  • Customer matters;

  • Tickets;

  • System responsibilities;

  • Documentation;

  • Pending operational tasks;

  • Company property;

  • Authorized access.

22. Fifteen-Day No-Contact / Abandonment Provision

The Parties acknowledge that continuous communication is essential to this role.

If the Team Member has no communication/contact with the Company for a continuous period of fifteen (15) calendar days and remains unreachable, without:

  • Prior approval;

  • An accepted leave/absence arrangement;

  • A reasonable explanation; or

  • Other circumstances accepted by the Company,

the Company may treat the engagement as inactive/abandoned and may cancel or terminate the contractual engagement.

Where legally permissible, the Company may do so with or without further notice, depending upon the circumstances.

This provision is not intended to unfairly apply where the Team Member is genuinely prevented from communicating due to an emergency, hospitalization, force majeure or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Such circumstances may be considered by the Company where the Team Member subsequently provides a reasonable explanation or supporting evidence.

23. Return of Company Information

Upon expiry or termination of the engagement, the Team Member shall, subject to applicable law and Company instructions:

  • Stop using Company systems;

  • Return or delete Company confidential information;

  • Return Company-owned property;

  • Complete pending handovers;

  • Stop representing themselves as an active Team Member of the Company.

24. Expiry and Renewal

At the end of six months, the Company may evaluate the engagement.

The Company may:

A. Renew the contractual engagement;

B. Offer salaried employment; or

C. Conclude the engagement without renewal.

Any offer of salaried employment shall be subject to a separate employment arrangement and applicable terms.

There is no automatic entitlement to salaried employment upon completion of six months.

25. Governing Terms

This Agreement shall be read together with the Company's applicable:

  • Terms & Conditions;

  • Privacy/Data Protection Policies;

  • Information Security Policies;

  • Internal operational policies;

  • Customer-support policies; and

  • Other applicable contractual documentation.

The specific executed agreement between the Parties shall prevail in case of inconsistency, subject to applicable law.

The Company's registered address, governing law and jurisdiction should be inserted exactly as stated in the Company's current official Terms & Conditions and applicable corporate documentation.

26. Entire Understanding

The contractual engagement, together with the applicable written terms, constitutes the understanding between the Parties regarding the engagement.

Any material modification to compensation, role, territory, working model or other principal commercial terms should be documented appropriately.

27. Candidate / Team Member Acknowledgement

By accepting this engagement, the Team Member confirms that they understand and accept that:

  1. The initial engagement is for six months.

  2. The role is initially completely remote.

  3. The Team Member must arrange a laptop/desktop, smartphone and reliable internet connection.

  4. The Company may subsequently require hybrid or work-from-office working.

  5. There is no fixed salary or guaranteed minimum compensation during the initial contractual period unless separately agreed in writing.

  6. Compensation is linked to eligible revenue and performance.

  7. The primary revenue share is 10%, subject to a maximum of INR 5,00,000 per month.

  8. The additional performance incentive is 3%, subject to a maximum of INR 10,00,000 per quarter.

  9. Compensation is subject to applicable revenue attribution and reconciliation.

  10. Renewal after six months is not guaranteed.

  11. Conversion to a salaried position is not guaranteed.

  12. A general minimum selection benchmark of approximately 50%–60% overall skill fitment may be applied.

  13. Confidentiality and data-security obligations apply throughout and, where applicable, after the engagement.

  14. The 15-day no-contact/inactivity provision forms part of the engagement framework.

  15. The final executed agreement and applicable law govern the legal relationship between the Parties.
