1. About the Role
Andabhurji Global Solutions is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and commercially aware Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting, Odoo functional accounting administration and finance-related back-office operations.
The selected Team Member will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations through its Odoo-based business environment.
The role is designed for an Accounts professional who understands both:
Traditional accounting and bookkeeping requirements, and
Odoo functional accounting administration and ERP-based finance operations.
The individual should be capable of working with accounting information relating to businesses operating in India, including proprietorships, partnership firms, LLPs, private limited companies and limited companies, depending on the Company's applicable business structure.
The Team Member will work as an operational bridge between:
Business Operations → Sales → eCommerce → Billing → Collections → Expenses → Banking → Tax/Compliance → Management → External CA/CS/Tax Professionals
The role requires strong attention to detail, financial discipline, confidentiality and the ability to identify accounting discrepancies before they become larger problems.
2. Important Scope of the Role
The Team Member is expected to independently handle routine accounting and finance operations within their competency and authorized scope.
Where a matter requires:
Chartered Accountant certification;
Company Secretary certification;
Statutory audit;
Tax representation;
Legal interpretation;
Professional tax advice;
Statutory sign-off; or
Other regulated professional activity,
the Team Member shall coordinate with the Company's appointed CA/CS/tax/legal professionals rather than representing themselves as a statutory professional unless appropriately qualified and authorized.
3. Key Responsibilities
3.1 General Accounting & Bookkeeping
The Team Member shall be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities including:
Recording accounting transactions accurately.
Maintaining books of accounts.
Recording sales and purchase transactions.
Recording income and expenses.
Maintaining receivable and payable records.
Recording receipts and payments.
Maintaining cash and bank transactions.
Recording journal entries.
Maintaining ledger accounts.
Performing ledger scrutiny.
Identifying unusual or incorrect entries.
Passing appropriate adjustment entries.
Maintaining supporting documentation.
Ensuring accounting records are complete and up to date.
Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
4. Odoo Functional Accounting Administration
The Team Member should be capable of using Odoo as a functional accounting and finance system.
Responsibilities may include:
Managing accounting-related configurations within authorized permissions.
Creating and maintaining customers and vendors.
Maintaining accounting-related master data.
Configuring or maintaining applicable taxes.
Managing chart-of-accounts-related information within authorized scope.

5. Sales & Revenue Accounting
The Team Member shall coordinate with sales and business teams to ensure that revenue-related transactions are properly recorded.
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing sales orders and invoices.
Checking invoice accuracy.
Verifying customer information.
Checking applicable taxes.
Monitoring payment realization.
Recording customer receipts.
Reconciling customer accounts.
Tracking outstanding invoices.
Following up internally on overdue payments.
Recording credit notes and adjustments.
Monitoring cancelled/refunded transactions.
Reconciling eCommerce revenue with accounting records.
Reconciling revenue-share or commission-related transactions where applicable.
Supporting monthly revenue reporting.
6. Accounts Receivable
The Team Member shall manage routine receivable operations including:
Customer ledger maintenance.
Invoice tracking.
Outstanding receivable monitoring.
Ageing analysis.
Payment follow-up.
Receipt entry.
Customer-account reconciliation.
Identification of overdue invoices.
Identification of duplicate or incorrect invoices.
Credit-note adjustments.
Refund-related accounting coordination.

7. Accounts Payable
The Team Member shall support accounts payable activities including:
Vendor master management.

TDS applicability coordination where relevant.

8. Bank & Cash Management
The Team Member shall maintain accurate records of banking and cash transactions.
Responsibilities include:
Recording bank transactions.
Recording cash transactions where applicable.
Performing bank reconciliation.

Investigating bank-book differences.
Tracking deposits and withdrawals.
Monitoring payment settlements.
Checking payment gateway settlements where applicable.
Reconciling online payment collections.
Preparing basic cash and bank position reports.
9. GST & Indirect Tax Support
The Team Member should have practical knowledge of Indian GST accounting and should support applicable GST-related operations.
Responsibilities may include:
Understanding GST concepts relevant to the business.
Maintaining GST-related customer/vendor information.
Applying applicable GST treatment within the accounting system as instructed.
Reviewing GST details on invoices.
Supporting reconciliation of sales with GST records.

10. TDS / Withholding Tax
The Team Member should understand the basic operational requirements of TDS and applicable withholding-tax processes.
Responsibilities may include:
Identifying transactions requiring TDS review.
Maintaining vendor/customer information required for TDS processing.
Supporting correct TDS accounting.
Recording TDS deductions.
Maintaining TDS payable records.
Supporting TDS payment reconciliation.
Supporting TDS return preparation.
Reconciling TDS with applicable tax records.
Supporting issuance/reconciliation of TDS certificates where applicable.
Escalating uncertain TDS matters to the Company's CA/tax professional.
The Team Member must keep themselves updated with the applicable law and Company instructions because Indian TDS provisions and statutory references can change. From 1 April 2026, the Income-tax Act, 2025 applies to relevant transactions occurring on or after that date.
11. Income Tax & Direct Tax Support
The Team Member should possess practical awareness of business-related income-tax accounting requirements.

Depending upon the Company's legal structure, turnover, transactions and applicability, this may include:

The Team Member shall handle routine finance-related administrative work including:

30. Contract & Compensation
The role is initially offered for a six (6) month renewable contractual period.

Primary Revenue Share
10% of the Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit
subject to a maximum cap of:
INR 5,00,000 per month.
Performance Incentive
Additional:
3% of the Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit
subject to a maximum cap of:
INR 10,00,000 per quarter.
The 3% incentive shall be paid after completion of the applicable quarter and reconciliation of the Company's records.
31. Revenue & Reconciliation
Compensation calculations shall be based on the Company's official records.
The Company may consider:

Refunds;
Credit notes;

Adjustments;
Reversals;
Disputed transactions.
The Company may adjust compensation calculations where transactions are subsequently cancelled, refunded, reversed or otherwise determined to be ineligible.
32. Six-Month Review
At completion of six months, the Company may:
Renew the contract;
Convert the Team Member to a salaried model; or
End the engagement without renewal.
Conversion to salaried employment shall depend on:
Individual performance;
Accuracy and reliability;
Business requirements;
Business-unit performance;
Organizational performance;
Availability of an appropriate position.
Completion of six months does not guarantee renewal or salaried employment.
33. Termination
The Company may terminate the engagement in accordance with the executed contract and applicable law.
Potential grounds include:
Fraud.
Dishonesty.
Financial misconduct.
Misappropriation.
Unauthorized transactions.
Falsification of accounting records.
Intentional financial-data manipulation.
Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
Customer/vendor data misuse.
Serious negligence.
Repeated accounting errors caused by failure to follow reasonable procedures.
Material breach of contract.
Material policy violation.
Conflict of interest.
Persistent failure to perform assigned responsibilities.
Where legally permissible, serious misconduct may result in immediate termination.
34. Fifteen-Day No-Contact / Abandonment Clause
If the Team Member remains completely unreachable or has no communication/contact with the Company for a continuous period of fifteen (15) calendar days, without prior approval, reasonable explanation or an arrangement accepted by the Company, the Company may treat the engagement as abandoned/inactive and may cancel or terminate the contract.
Where legally permissible and depending on the circumstances, the Company may cancel the engagement with or without further notice.
Genuine circumstances such as emergencies, hospitalization, force majeure or other circumstances preventing communication may be considered where the Team Member subsequently provides a reasonable explanation or supporting evidence.
35. Professional Conduct
The Team Member shall:

36. Candidate Acknowledgement
By applying for this position, the candidate confirms that they understand:
The role is initially completely remote.
A laptop/desktop, smartphone and reliable internet connection are mandatory.
The Company may subsequently require hybrid or work-from-office working.
The initial engagement is for six months.
There is no fixed salary during the contractual period.
Compensation is revenue/performance linked.
The primary revenue share is 10%, subject to a maximum of INR 5,00,000 per month.
The additional performance incentive is 3%, subject to a maximum of INR 10,00,000 per quarter.
Compensation is subject to applicable revenue attribution and reconciliation.
Renewal is not guaranteed.
Salaried conversion is not guaranteed.
A general minimum skill-fitment benchmark of approximately 50%–60% applies.
Accounting and statutory work must be performed within the Team Member's competence and authorization.
Matters requiring professional certification, legal interpretation or statutory sign-off may be handled by the Company's appointed CA/CS/tax/legal professionals.
Confidentiality and financial-data security are fundamental requirements of the role.
The 15-day no-contact/inactivity provision forms part of the engagement framework.

1. NATURE OF ENGAGEMENT
The Team Member – Accounts shall be engaged as a contractual Team Member responsible for Accounts, Finance Operations, Odoo Accounting Functional Administration and related back-office activities.
The engagement is intended to support the organization's accounting and financial operations across its applicable business activities, customers, vendors, sales channels, online operations and other business units.
The Team Member shall perform the assigned responsibilities professionally, accurately and within the authority granted by the Organization.
This engagement does not automatically constitute a permanent employment relationship, and the commercial terms of the engagement shall be governed by these Contractual Engagement Terms and any additional written agreement mutually accepted by the parties.

The Team Member shall distinguish between functional accounting issues and technical/software-development issues and escalate technical issues to the appropriate internal or external technical resource.

Receipt posting.
Customer account reconciliation.
Ageing analysis.
Overdue payment reporting.
Credit-note adjustments.

Coordination with sales/business teams regarding outstanding payments.
4.4 Accounts Payable
Responsibilities may include:
Vendor bill processing.
Vendor ledger management.
Payment tracking.
Payable ageing.
Vendor reconciliation.

4.5 Bank and Cash Management
The Team Member shall assist with:

4.6 GST and Indirect Tax Support
The Team Member shall maintain accounting records and provide operational support relating to applicable GST activities, including:

GST ledger reconciliation.
Tax invoice review.
Credit/debit note accounting.
GST-related reconciliation.
Preparation of accounting information required for GST compliance.

The Team Member shall not independently provide legal or tax opinions where professional certification or specialist advice is required.
4.7 TDS / TCS Support
The Team Member shall support applicable withholding and collection processes, including:
Identification of potentially applicable TDS/TCS transactions.
TDS/TCS accounting entries.
Vendor/customer data verification.
PAN/TAN-related record coordination.
TDS ledger reconciliation.
Supporting schedules.
Payment and deduction records.
Preparation of information required for returns and certificates.
Coordination with tax professionals.
The Team Member shall maintain awareness of applicable statutory changes. For example, the Income Tax Department currently provides that transactions on or after April 1, 2026 are governed by the applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act, 2025, including the updated TDS framework.

Vendor reconciliation.
GST-related reconciliation.
TDS reconciliation.
Payment reconciliation.
Invoice reconciliation.
Ledger reconciliation.
Inter-account reconciliation.
Revenue reconciliation.

Any material discrepancy should be identified, documented and escalated appropriately.
7. MONTH-END AND YEAR-END CLOSING
The Team Member may be responsible for supporting:
Month-end closing.
Ledger review.
Outstanding reconciliation.
Accrual entries.
Prepaid expense adjustments.
Depreciation-related entries where applicable.
Provision entries.
Revenue reconciliation.
Expense reconciliation.
Bank reconciliation.
Receivable/payable review.
Year-end closing activities.
Preparation of supporting schedules.
8. AUDIT AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT
The Team Member shall assist the Organization and its appointed:
Chartered Accountant.
Company Secretary.
Tax professional.
Auditor.
Consultant.
Financial advisor.
Activities may include:
Providing accounting records.
Preparing schedules.
Sharing ledger information.
Providing transaction details.
Supporting audit queries.
Reconciling differences.
Preparing documentation.
Tracking pending information.
Coordinating with relevant internal teams.
Where a matter requires professional certification, statutory sign-off, legal interpretation or specialized tax advice, the Team Member shall coordinate with the appointed professional rather than independently representing such work as professionally certified.
9. BACK-OFFICE FINANCE OPERATIONS
The Team Member shall perform regular finance back-office activities such as:
Data entry.
Invoice processing.
Document verification.
Accounting records maintenance.
Digital document organization.
Payment records.
Expense records.
Vendor/customer documentation.
Financial spreadsheets.
Internal reports.
Reconciliation statements.
Supporting documentation for management.
Maintenance of accounting records in an organized manner.
10. FINANCIAL REPORTING
The Team Member may prepare or assist with:
Daily financial summaries.
Weekly reports.
Monthly reports.
Revenue reports.
Expense reports.
Receivables reports.
Payables reports.
Cash-flow information.
Bank summaries.
Profit and Loss reports.
Balance Sheet information.
Ageing reports.
Business-unit-wise accounting reports.
Management MIS.
11. DATA ACCURACY AND FINANCIAL CONTROL
The Team Member shall maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial activities.
The Team Member shall:
Verify accounting information before posting.
Avoid duplicate entries.
Maintain proper supporting documentation.
Investigate unexplained differences.
Avoid unauthorized modifications.
Maintain appropriate accounting classifications.
Protect financial information.
Escalate suspicious or unusual transactions.
Maintain audit trails wherever supported by the system.
12. CONFIDENTIALITY
The Team Member may have access to confidential information including:
Customer information.
Vendor information.
Bank details.
Financial records.
Revenue information.
Expense information.
Pricing information.
Tax information.
Business plans.
Contracts.
Employee-related financial information.
Management reports.
Accounting credentials.
Internal systems.
Such information shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed, copied, transferred or used for unauthorized purposes.
This obligation shall continue after termination or expiry of the engagement to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. SYSTEM ACCESS AND SECURITY
The Team Member shall:
Use only authorized accounts.
Protect passwords and authentication information.
Not share credentials.
Not provide unauthorized system access to third parties.
Not download confidential financial information unnecessarily.
Not alter accounting records without authorization.
Immediately report suspected unauthorized access.
Follow applicable data-security procedures.
Any misuse of accounting or financial systems may constitute grounds for termination.
14. REMOTE WORK
The engagement shall initially operate on a completely remote basis, unless otherwise communicated.
The Team Member shall arrange and maintain:
Suitable laptop/computer.
Smartphone/mobile communication.
Reliable internet connection.
Appropriate workspace.
Required software/tools.
Ability to communicate through email, chat and other authorized communication systems.
Remote work shall not reduce the Team Member's responsibility for availability, communication, accuracy or completion of assigned work.
15. FUTURE HYBRID / WORK-FROM-OFFICE REQUIREMENT
Depending on business requirements, operational availability and organizational structure, the Organization may introduce:
Hybrid work.
Work-from-office.
Periodic office visits.
Physical documentation work.
Meetings at designated locations.
The Team Member shall be informed of such requirements reasonably in advance wherever practicable.
16. COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
The engagement shall operate under the following commercial structure:
Fixed Salary
No fixed monthly salary is guaranteed under this contractual engagement.
Revenue Share
The Team Member shall be eligible for:
10% of the Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit, subject to a maximum cap of:
INR 5,00,000 per month.
Revenue attribution shall be subject to the Organization's records and applicable revenue-recognition criteria.
17. ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE
In addition to the above revenue-share structure, the Team Member may be eligible for:
3% of Total Revenue generated in the assigned region/business unit as an additional performance incentive.
The additional incentive shall be:
Calculated quarterly.
Subject to reconciliation.
Payable after completion of the applicable quarter.
Subject to verification of relevant records.
Subject to the maximum cap of INR 10,00,000 per quarter.
18. REVENUE ATTRIBUTION AND RECONCILIATION
For compensation purposes, revenue shall be determined based on the Organization's accounting and business records.
The Organization may consider:
Actual customer payments.
Completed/paid invoices.
Applicable cancellations.
Refunds.
Credit notes.
Reversals.
Taxes where excluded from the applicable calculation.
Revenue attributable to the assigned business unit or region.
Other legitimate accounting adjustments.
The final calculation shall be subject to internal reconciliation and verification.
No revenue-share amount shall be considered finally payable merely because an invoice has been generated if the applicable commercial conditions have not been fulfilled.
19. NO GUARANTEE OF REVENUE OR MINIMUM EARNINGS
The Team Member acknowledges that this is a performance/revenue-linked contractual engagement.
Accordingly:
No minimum monthly revenue is guaranteed.
No minimum monthly income is guaranteed.
Revenue-share earnings depend on actual eligible revenue.
Business performance may fluctuate.
Customer payments may vary.
Refunds, cancellations and adjustments may affect revenue.
The Organization does not guarantee any specific earning level.
20. SIX-MONTH PERFORMANCE REVIEW
At the end of the initial six-month engagement period, the Organization may review:
Accounting accuracy.
Odoo functional competency.
Timeliness.
Reconciliation quality.
Financial reporting.
Compliance support.
Back-office performance.
Communication.
Availability.
Confidentiality.
Professional conduct.
Business requirements.
Following the review, the Organization may:
Renew the contractual engagement.
Modify the scope of responsibilities.
Modify commercial terms by mutual written agreement.
Consider another engagement model.
Discontinue the engagement.
Any future salaried or alternative engagement model shall be subject to separate written terms and shall not be considered guaranteed.
21. MINIMUM SKILL FITMENT
The candidate is expected to possess approximately 50%-60% or more overall skill fitment against the requirements of this role at the time of selection.

The remaining skills may be developed through training, practical exposure and work experience where considered appropriate by the Organization.
22. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
The Team Member shall:
Complete assigned work within agreed timelines.
Maintain accurate accounting records.
Respond to internal queries.
Maintain proper documentation.
Communicate delays promptly.
Escalate accounting discrepancies.
Maintain professional communication.
Follow approved processes.
Protect confidential information.
Continuously improve accounting and system knowledge.
Repeated errors, negligence, unexplained delays or failure to follow reasonable accounting controls may result in performance review or termination.
23. CONFLICT OF INTEREST
The Team Member shall disclose any situation that may create an actual or potential conflict of interest with the Organization.
The Team Member shall not:
Misuse customer/vendor relationships.
Divert Organization business.
Use confidential financial information for personal benefit.
Misrepresent the Organization.
Conduct unauthorized financial transactions on behalf of the Organization.
24. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND WORK PRODUCT
Reports, accounting templates, documentation, processes, spreadsheets, MIS formats, internal financial models, records, workflows and other work products specifically created for the Organization during the engagement shall belong to the Organization to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any separate written terms.
The Team Member shall not commercially reuse confidential Organization-specific material without authorization.
25. TERMINATION
The Organization may terminate the engagement where appropriate, including in circumstances involving:
Serious misconduct.
Fraud.
Financial manipulation.
Unauthorized financial transactions.
Misuse of accounting systems.
Confidentiality breach.
Data-security breach.
Falsification of records.
Repeated accounting negligence.
Material performance failure.
Breach of contractual terms.
Conflict of interest.
Unauthorized disclosure of financial information.
Misrepresentation.
Repeated failure to communicate.
Abandonment of responsibilities.
Any other material breach of the engagement terms.
The Team Member may also request termination by providing reasonable written notice, subject to completion or handover of critical pending responsibilities.
Where immediate termination is required due to serious misconduct, fraud, security risk or other material breach, the Organization may take appropriate action without waiting for the ordinary notice period, subject to applicable law and contractual requirements.
26. FIFTEEN-DAY NO-CONTACT / ABANDONMENT PROVISION
If the Team Member becomes completely unreachable and provides no communication for a continuous period of fifteen (15) calendar days, without prior approval, reasonable explanation or an accepted communication arrangement, the Organization may treat the engagement as abandoned and may cancel/terminate the contractual engagement, subject to applicable law.
This provision shall not ordinarily apply where the Team Member is unable to communicate due to a genuine emergency, force majeure circumstance or other circumstances reasonably accepted by the Organization.
27. HANDOVER ON TERMINATION
Upon expiry or termination, the Team Member shall, as applicable:
Complete pending accounting work.
Provide status of reconciliations.
Handover pending invoices.
Handover outstanding receivable/payable information.
Return or transfer Organization records.
Provide relevant accounting documentation.
Return access-controlled information.
Stop using Organization systems after access is withdrawn.
Cooperate in reasonable transition activities.
28. RETURN AND PROTECTION OF INFORMATION
Upon termination or expiry, the Team Member shall return, delete or securely transfer Organization information as directed, subject to applicable legal or record-retention requirements.
The Team Member shall not retain confidential financial records for personal or unauthorized commercial use.
29. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
The Team Member shall maintain professional standards while dealing with:
Customers.
Vendors.
Employees.
Management.
CA/CS professionals.
Auditors.
Tax professionals.
Internal teams.
Business partners.
The Team Member shall not make unauthorized commitments, tax representations, financial promises or legal statements on behalf of the Organization.
30. STATUTORY AND PROFESSIONAL LIMITATIONS
The Team Member is responsible for performing assigned accounting and functional activities within their competence and authorization.
Nothing in this engagement authorizes the Team Member to independently provide:
Legal opinions.
Statutory audit opinions.
Chartered-accountant certification.
Company-secretarial certification.
Independent tax opinions requiring professional authorization.
Any other regulated professional service requiring separate statutory authorization.
Where required, such matters shall be referred to the Organization's appointed professional advisors.
31. CHANGES IN LAW AND ACCOUNTING REQUIREMENTS
The Team Member shall make reasonable efforts to remain aware of relevant changes affecting the Organization's accounting operations.
The Organization may update accounting processes, Odoo configurations, reporting formats and internal procedures when required by:
Changes in law.
Tax requirements.
Accounting requirements.
Business processes.
Technology changes.
Internal controls.
Professional advice.
The Team Member shall cooperate with such reasonable changes within the scope of the role.
32. COMMUNICATION AND AVAILABILITY
The Team Member shall maintain reasonable availability during mutually agreed working/communication periods.
Important matters relating to:
Payments.
Accounting discrepancies.
Customer balances.
Vendor balances.
Tax matters.
Compliance deadlines.
Financial reporting.
Management requirements
should be communicated promptly.
33. RENEWAL
At the end of the six-month period, the Organization may renew the engagement based on business and performance requirements.
Renewal shall require confirmation by the Organization and may include revised:
Responsibilities.
Revenue-share terms.
Incentive terms.
Work model.
Business-unit allocation.
Performance expectations.
No renewal shall be implied merely because the Team Member continues to perform work after the initial period unless the Organization confirms continuation.
34. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By accepting the engagement, the Team Member acknowledges that they:
Have understood the nature of the contractual engagement.
Understand that there is no guaranteed fixed salary under these terms.
Understand the revenue-share and performance-incentive structure.
Understand that revenue-linked earnings depend on actual eligible business revenue.
Understand the six-month initial engagement period.
Understand the remote-work requirements.
Agree to maintain confidentiality.
Agree to protect financial and accounting information.
Agree to follow authorized accounting and Odoo processes.
Agree to maintain professional standards.
Agree to comply with applicable internal policies.
Understand the termination and no-contact provisions.
Understand that renewal is not guaranteed.
Understand that statutory certification and specialized professional advice may be handled by appointed professionals.
35. FINAL UNDERSTANDING
These Contractual Engagement Terms represent the principal understanding governing the Team Member – Accounts engagement.
Any material modification to the commercial terms, responsibilities or engagement structure should preferably be documented in writing and accepted by the relevant parties.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable or inconsistent with applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue to the extent legally permissible.
The engagement shall be subject to applicable laws and regulations of India.
